Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes how Giovanni Martinotti uses cookies on giovannimartinotti.com, in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
YouTube Videos
Videos on the Media page are handled by the WP YouTube Lyte plugin using “click-to-load”:
- Before you click play: no request is sent to YouTube or Google. Thumbnails are served from our own server, not from Google’s servers — your IP address is not transmitted to Google.
- When you click play: the YouTube player loads and the cookies described below activate. Your click is the action by which you consent to this loading, as indicated by the notice displayed above the videos.
For this reason, YouTube cookies are not managed through a banner category: they only activate following your direct action on the individual video, not when the page loads or when you accept the banner in general.
