About Giovanni Martinotti
Giovanni Martinotti is Full Professor of Psychiatry at the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti–Pescara and Lecturer in Psychiatry at UniCamillus – Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences in Rome, LUMSA University in Rome, and the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
His research focuses on treatment-resistant depression, psychedelic therapies, brain stimulation techniques, and substance use disorders.
He is the author of more than 500 scientific publications, with an H-index of 70, and ranks among the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists according to Stanford University. In 2024, he received the CINP Brain Health Award.
